Terms and Conditions for The Card Spot Pty Ltd

1. Introduction

Welcome to The Card Spot Pty Ltd ("The Card Spot," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including purchasing products from us, either online or in-store. By engaging with The Card Spot, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.


2. Returns and Refunds Policy

2.1 Change of Mind Returns
  • Sealed Items: Change of mind returns are only available for sealed items. Customers must contact us within 24 hours of purchase to be eligible for a return. The item must be returned in its original, unopened, and undamaged condition.

  • Single Cards: We do not accept change of mind returns for booster boxes & single cards, including graded and ungraded cards.

2.2 Refunds
  • Refunds will be issued in accordance with Australian Consumer Law for faulty or defective products. Proof of purchase is required.

  • Shipping costs for returned items are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or defective.


3. Customer Item Holding Policy

We will hold customer items for a maximum of 1 month from the date of notification that the item is ready for collection. After this period, unclaimed items will be considered forfeited and may be resold or otherwise disposed of at our discretion. No refunds will be provided for forfeited items.


4. Shipping Policy

4.1 Import and Customs Charges
  • Customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs charges incurred upon the arrival of the shipment in their destination country. The Card Spot is not liable for these charges.

4.2 Lost or Damaged Items
  • We provide tracking and insurance for all standard shipping up to $100 AUD. Claims for lost or damaged items must be made through the shipping provider.

  • Additional insurance can be purchased at the check out or via our Email.


5. Grading Services

5.1 BGS & PSA Grading
  • The Card Spot is not liable for any upcharges, including import taxes or charges, from grading companies such as BGS or PSA.

  • Any such charges will be passed on to the customer and must be paid within 7 days of the invoice.

  • Failure to pay within this timeframe will result in a 3% interest per day on the outstanding amount.


6. Limitation of Liability

The Card Spot will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of our products or services. Our liability is limited to the value of the purchased product.


7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.


8. Amendments

The Card Spot reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be effective immediately upon posting to our website or other communication channels.
